NORTHFIELD, MINN. - Brynn Liljander's double-double led UW River falls over the St. Olaf women's basketball team on Monday night at the Skoglund Center by a score of 71-59.

Liljander scored 25 points and recorded 10 rebounds in the victory for UW River Falls (7-0, 1-0 WIAC). Taylor Karge added 17 points for the Falcons.

Betsey Daly had a team high 18 points for St. Olaf (6-2, 2-0 MIAC), trailed by Afton Wolter with 12 and Woo Bandel with 10.

The Oles pulled to within eight on a layup by Daly with 3:44 minutes left to play. Katie Messman came back with a three-pointer 18 seconds later to stop St. Olaf's run. UW River falls maintained a double digit lead through the remainder of the contest.
St. Olaf will be back in MIAC action at home on Wednesday night to host Concordia College.
