Kevin Skrip scored twice and
Aaron Stets had two assists as the St. Olaf men's soccer team scored a 4-0 non-conference win over Luther College on Tuesday afternoon at Rolf Mellby Field in the season opener for both schools.
Aaron Miller and
Kyle Leemon also picked up goals for the Oles, who had six saves from
Ben Braman in the shutout victory.
The Oles held a 15-10 advantage in shots while Luther had the edge in corners, 4-1.Â
St. Olaf led 1-0 for most of the game on Miller's goal, on an assist from
Sam Kaplan in the 18th minute. Skrip then tallied two scores at 61:56 and 76:49 before Leemon's goal at 83:23.Â
