NORTHFIELD, Minn. - Concordia-Moorhead raced to a 21-0 lead and had four touchdowns from running back Chad Johnson as the visiting Cobbers defeated St. Olaf 37-7 in a MIAC football game on Saturday afternoon at Manitou Field.

Troy Peterson had eight catches for 108 yards and a touchdown in the loss. St. Olaf (1-3, 0-2 MIAC) had 252 yards of total offense, including 182 through the air.
Nate Penz was 15-for-24 for 169 yards with the score to Peterson and one interception.
Concordia used its dynamic ground game to hold a 37:53-22:07 advantage in time of possession. The Cobbers used 10 different ball carriers to amass 252 rushing yards. Johnson led the way with 71 yards on 10 carries.
Connor McCormick had 43 yards and Penz 42 yards on the ground for the Oles.
St. Olaf got within two scores late in the first half on Peterson's touchdown. The Cobbers, however, went 60 yards on eight plays inside the final two minutes as Johnson scored from four yards out with 25 seconds left in the half.
The Oles will play at St. Thomas on Saturday. The No. 12 Tommies defeated No. 8 Saint John's on Saturday 35-14 in Collegeville.
