NORTHFIELD, Minn. - Dylan Hottsmith scored the lone goal of the match in the 53rd minute to give UW-Whitewater a 1-0 non-conference victory over St. Olaf at Rolf Melby Field on Sunday afternoon.
Kevin Skrip led the Oles with three shots, including one on goal. Â Despite seven total shots on goal, the Oles couldn't beat UW-Whitewater keeper Alex Buchman.
Ben Braman tallied five saves in the loss, all coming in the first period. Â
The Oles were unsuccessful in four corner kicks, including one late header in the 85th by
Tylor Rosera that was turned away by Buchman.
St. Olaf returns to the pitch on Sept. 12th to face Benedictine University in Lisle, Ill.
