ST. PAUL, Minn. - With a team free throw percentage of 87.1, the Oles defeated Macalester 71-64 on Wednesday night at the Leonard Center.
Justin Pahl led St. Olaf (9-5, 7-2 MIAC) with 19 total points, three assists and a perfect free throw percentage making 10-of-10.
Riley Aeikens was also perfect from the free throw line making six on six attempts. Aeikens ended the game with 14 total points and two blocks. Senior
Ben Figini was 4-for-6 from the floor with 11 points and had five rebounds.Â
Kareem Ismail had 18 points and four assists for Macalester (3-10, 1-7 MIAC).
The Oles kept a lead over the Scots the entire game and shot 50% from the field and 33.3% from three point range.Â
St. Olaf's next contest will be on the road again at St. Thomas next Wednesday, Jan. 20th at 7 p.m.
