ST. CLOUD, Minn. - The St. Olaf women's hockey team fell to Saint Ben's 3-2 on Saturday afternoon at the Herb Brooks National Hockey Center.
After a scoreless first period by both teams the Oles were first on the board with a goal from
Becky Weingarten in the second period at 12:33. St. Olaf's next goal came from
Riley Anderson at 11:34 in the third period. Soon after, Saint Ben's
(5-9-1, 3-4-1) answered with three straight third period goals, two coming from Elli Marvin, for the win.
Megan Skelly,
Jane Vezina,
Abbey Smith and
Kiki Platek all were credited with assists in the loss. Goalie
Cassie Alexander finished with 21 total saves.
St. Olaf
(1-13-1, 0-7-1) will be at Gustavus on Friday, January 22 at 7 p.m.
