ST. PETER, Minn. - Jane Vezina scored three times in the first 24 minutes for St. Olaf, but Gustavus Adolphus College scored a 4-3 MIAC women's hockey victory over the visiting Oles on Friday night at Don Roberts Ice Rink.

Emily Reibert scored twice for the Gusties (5-7-2, 4-2-3 MIAC), who scored the game's final three goals.

Vezina scored at 14:56 of the first period from the circle and again at 16:14, on a shorthanded breakaway, to put the Oles (1-14-1, 0-8-1) up 2-0. Gustavus responded 30 seconds later to get within a goal on Reibert's first tally at 16:44. Vezina then scored on her own rebound at 3:35 of the second to make it 3-1. 

Cassie Alexander had 32 saves in the loss for the Oles. 

Erin Moes and Georgia Eger had the Gusties' other two goals. Eger's game-winner came at 2:34 of the third.

The teams meet in Northfield tomrrow in the series finale.
