MANKATO, Minn. - The St. Olaf women's basketball team defeated Bethany Lutheran on Tuesday night 67-61 in its season opener.
Margaret Andersen posted a career high of 22 points to lead the Oles, she added two rebounds and three assists in the win.

Betsey Daly had ten points apiece. St. Olaf shot 40 per cent from the floor and 33.3 per cent from three-point range.
Bethany Lutheran's Haley Sandin had 22 points and went 3-for-5 from the three-point line.
The Oles will compete against UW-Whitewater on Friday in Eau Claire, Wis. at 6 p.m.
