EAU CLAIRE, Wis. - The St. Olaf women's basketball team was defeated by the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater on Friday night at the Zorn Arena.

Senior Betsey Daly led all scorers with 19 points. She also had nine rebounds and four assists. 

Michelle Lother added nine points and six rebounds for the Oles, both career highs for the first year. 

Whitewater shot 35.5 per cent from the floor compared St. Olaf's 22.6 per cent. Whitewater also out-rebounded the Oles 54-32.

St. Olaf will compete again tomorrow at Eau Claire against the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire at 5 p.m.
