EAU CLAIRE, Wis. - The St. Olaf women's basketball team was defeated by the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire 76-54 on Saturday night at Zorn Arena. 

Makenna Ash had 17 points and nine rebounds to lead the Oles. Betsey Daly added 10 points. 

UW-Eau Claire shot 63 percent from the floor in the second half and 52.9 percent overall. The Blugolds had 30 points in the paint while St. Olaf had 18. 

The Blugolds outscored the Oles 18-6 in the second quarter and used a 10-2 run to open the third. 

St. Olaf (1-2) will travel to Pasadena, Calif. to take on Caltech on Friday.
