NORTHFIELD, Minn. - Jordie Bancroft scored a hat trick as Concordia College-Moorhead claimed a 3-0 MIAC men's hockey win over St. Olaf on Saturday to gain a split in the two-game series. 

Bancroft scored once in the second and twice in the third as the Cobbers (9-12-2, 7-6-1 MIAC) moved into fourth place in the MIAC with 23 points.

St. Olaf (6-12-5, 4-6-4 MIAC, 19 points) remained in a fifth place tie with Saint Mary's, who wrapped up their regular season with a loss to Saint John's on Saturday. SMU, St. Olaf, Gustavus and Hamline are all in the hunt for a playoff spot with a weekend series remaining.
