OWATONNA, Minn. - The St. Olaf women's tennis team defeated St. Scholastica 6-3 on Saturday afternoon to open its 2016 season. 

Alisa Hall (6-1, 6-0) took home the win at the No. 1 position, while Margaret Zimmerman (6-1, 6-0) defeated Elise Hauer at the No. 3 spot. 

St. Olaf (1-0) tabbed two wins in the doubles competion to secure the team win. 

The Oles will host Macalester College on Friday in Owatonna at 5:30 p.m.
