FT. MYERS, Fla. - The St. Olaf softball team erupted for nine runs in the top of the seventh to run away from Mt. St. Vincent 13-2, before dropping the second game of the day to junior college Florida Southwestern State, 4-3.

Afton Wolter each added two hits for St. Olaf.
Chandler Beaupre picked up the win, scattering seven hits while striking out eight in the complete game victory.
Florida Southwestern State 4, St. Olaf 3Bentley and Carr each went 2-for-4, but Florida Southwestern scored twice in the top of the sixth on a go-ahead, two-run homer that proved the difference.Â
