St. Olaf beats St. Vincent, drops finale to Mt. St. Mary

FT. MYERS, Fla. - The St. Olaf softball team closed its Florida trip with an 8-2 win over Mount Saint Vincent before falling to Mount Saint Mary, 4-2, on Thursday afternoon.

Jessica Bentley went 3-for-4 with a double, triple, two runs and three RBI as the Oles scored three runs in the fifth inning to pull away from the Dolphins. Bentley had an RBI triple in the first inning and a two-run single in the third. 

Jenna Boudreau added a 2-for-3 effort with two RBI in the win for St. Olaf. 

Rachel Heizer was 2-for-3 with a two-run homer from CMSV.

Mount Saint Mary 4, St. Olaf 2
Mount Saint Mary scored four runs in the fifth inning and held St. Olaf to five hits in the 4-2 win. Emily Carr had two hits and drove in a run for the Oles.
