ST. PAUL, Minn. - The St. Olaf softball team was defeated by Hamline in Sunday afternoon's double header 6-1 and 7-0 at Meredith Field.
Game One: Hamline 6, St. Olaf 1Woo Bandel scored after
Jenna Boudreau reached first on a fielder's choice in the first inning. After that the Pipers took over. Jamie Rubbelke had three hits, two of them homers, and three RBIs to lead Hamline to victory.
Emily Carr had two of seven St. Olaf hits.
Game Two: Hamline 7, St. Olaf 0The Oles were held to six hits and no runs in game two. Hamline had 13 hits, three were doubles.
The Oles will host Saint Mary's University on Thursday at 3:30 p.m. and 5:30 p.m.
