Oles sweep Auggies

MINNEAPOLIS - St. Olaf swept an MIAC softball doubleheader from Augsburg on Sunday afternoon at Edor Nelson Field. 

Game One: St. Olaf 5, Augsburg 4 (9 innings)
Jenna Boudreau went 4-for-5 with a run and two RBI as the Oles scored four in the first inning and took the lead in the ninth on Boudreau's single to left field. Alex Lopez went the distance, scattering nine hits and five walks to get the win.

Woo Bandel added a 2-for-5 day at the plate while Lopez was 1-for-2 with three walks. 

Game Two: St. Olaf 4, Augsburg 0
Jessica Bentley tossed a three-hit shutout while Becca Walz was 3-for-4 and Bandel 2-for-4 as St. Olaf completed the sweep with a 4-0 win. 

St. Olaf has won four of its last six. The Oles host Bethel on Wednesday before heading to Carleton on Saturday.
