NORTHFIELD, MINN. - The St. Olaf men's tennis team fell to Macalester 6-3 in a MIAC matchup on Tuesday afternoon at St. Olaf's Carlson Courts.

St. Olaf (8-7) won two singles matches, led by Christian Beck (6-3, 6-4) and Mike Schroeder (6-1, 6-4) in the No. 3 and No. 4 matches respectively.

The doubles team of Schroeder and Keenan Gladd-Brown won the No. 3 doubles match by a score of 8-3 for the Oles.

Macalester's (10-7) Brian Utz and Peter Willenborg won the No. 2 (6-4, 6-7, 10-3) and No. 6 (6-2, 4-6, 10-7) singles matches, each in a third set tiebreaker, securing the 6-3 victory for Macalester.

St. Olaf will be back home on Saturday afternoon to host Bethel University for another MIAC matchup.
