NORTHFIELD, Minn. - The St. Olaf women's soccer team scored a 3-1 win over UW-River Falls on Thursday afternoon in the season opener for each school, and in the first game for Ole head coach
Rachael Sushner.
Hannah Stoker (17:21) and
Mackenzie Schoustra (26:43) scored first half goals for the Oles, who added an insurance tally in the second half after the Falcons (0-1-0) got within a goal.
Kaylyn Billmeyer picked up the goal with 10:50 remaining.
Julie Johnson made one save to get the win for the Oles.Â
St. Olaf plays at UW-Eau Claire on Saturday at 11 a.m.
