WAVERLY, Iowa -
Lauren Rewers led the Oles in kills with 13 as the St. Olaf volleyball team lost a match on Friday night against Buena Vista University by a score of 3-1 (21-25, 25-23, 25-17, 25-21).
The Oles came out strong in game one, winning by a score of 25-21, which included a 6-0 run to break a 15-15 tie and give the Oles 21-15 advantage. Â Buena Vista University had a better hitting percentage that St. Olaf after hitting .206 for the match while the Oles hit .118. Â
Renata Erickson again led the Oles in assists, tallying 34 over the four games. Â

Haley Langeslag led St. Olaf in digs with 18, 10, and nine respectively.
The Oles play two more matches this Saturday against tournament host Wartburg College and Luther College.
