NORTHFIELD, Minn. -
Henrik Kowalkowski scored the only two goals of the match in a 2-0 St. Olaf victory over Concordia College on Saturday afternoon at Rolf Melby Field.
Aaron Miller was on for the assist in both goals. Â The first goal for St. Olaf (3-1-3, 1-0-2 MIAC) came early in the match in the fourth minute off of a low cross pass from the left side, and Kowalkowski deflected the goal in the box into the net. Â The second goal came in the 31st minute in transition.
Ben Braman made one save in the first half and two saves in the second half to earn the shutout. Â Concordia (3-4-1, 0-3-0 MIAC) keeper Ben Glogoza faced 17 total shots, nine of those being on goal.
Miller led the Oles with four shots, and
Pato Cortina and Kowalkowski each added three. Â The Oles outshot the Cobbers 17-5 for the match.
The Oles play next away against Hamline University on Tuesday night.
