Cobbers outlast Oles in four

MOORHEAD, Minn. - Brianna Carney's 15 kills and Haley Cuppett's 12 led Concordia-Moorhead to a four-set victory over St. Olaf -- 25-23, 25-17, 22-25 and 25-16 -- on Friday night at Memorial Auditorium. 

Lauren Rewers had 11 and Megan Grimes 10 kills to pace St. Olaf (7-10, 0-4 MIAC). The Oles hit .217 in the two-point first set loss and .205 in the 25-22 win in the third set. Sophie Schwartz wnet 5-for-11 with no errors (.455) while Abby Slack had 17 digs.

Carney hit .520 (15-for-25, two errors) and Jena Klaphake had 45 set assists, four aces and nine digs for the Cobbers.
