Lauren Rewers had 15 kills while hitting .538 and
Megan Grimes had a team-best 17 kills as St. Olaf rallied from a 2-0 deficit to defeat UW-Superior in five sets -- 12-25, 14-25, 25-16, 25-12, 16-14 -- on Tuesday night at Skoglund Center.
Abby Carpenter added 13 kills and
Abby Slack 18 digs as the Oles hit .467 in the third set, .314 in the fourth and .281 in the decisive fifth. St. Olaf had seven errors in the first set, six in the second and a mere 10 over the final three.Â
Brylee Colligan had 18 kills to pace the Yellowjackets (0-6), who raced to a 9-4 lead in the final set. Grimes had three straight terminations in the final frame as a part of the Oles' 6-0 run that turned the deficit to an 11-10 lead.Â
Renata Erickson had 46 set assists and 10 digs for the Oles while her counterpart, UWS' Emily VerWay had 46 as well.Â
St. Olaf will play four matches in Dubuque, Iowa this weekend.Â
