RIVER FALLS, Wis. - Mackenzie Schoustra scored her sixth goal of the season as St. Olaf (9-5-1) defeated the University of Wisconsin River Falls (3-12-1) 1-0 in a non-conference match on Wednesday.

After a scoreless first period, the Oles took the lead in the second when Abby Stets out ran a Falcon and sent a pass behind two others to Schoustra. Schoustra maneuvered by the lone defender and launched a shot past the goalie to put the Oles up 1-0, a lead they would not relinquish.

Schoustra and Stets are now tied for the Ole team lead at six goals apiece on the season.

The Ole women have now beaten the Falcons in three consecutive years. The two teams have never gone a year without playing against each other dating back to 2010. In that time frame the Ole women have never lost to them, going 6-0-2.

With this being the Ole women's ninth win of the season, they have surpassed last year's season win total with three games yet to play.

Next up for the Ole women is a conference match at the University of St. Thomas.
