No. 11 Gusties defeat Oles, 3-0

NORTHFIELD, Minn. - St. Olaf (14-7, 4-2 MIAC) fell to 11th-ranked Gustavus Adolphus (16-3, 5-1 MIAC) in straight sets -- 25-22. 25-22, 26-24 -- Wednesday night at the Skoglund Center.

Facing defeat down 24-22 in the third set, the Oles battled back from the brink to tie it up at 24 apiece.  The Gusties proceeded to reclaim the lead and end the Ole's comeback hopes with back-to-back points to win both the set and the match.

Lauren Rewers led the Oles with 15 kills, further contributing with four blocks and an ace.  Lexi Wall had 32 assists to lead the team.

Next up for the Oles are four non-conference matches in Oshkosh, Wis. on Friday and Saturday.
