NORTHFIELD, Minn. -
Mackenzie Schoustra's goal in the 11th minute was the decisive score as the St. Olaf women's soccer team defeated Macalester College 2-0 on Saturday at Rolf Mellby Field.
Kaylyn Billmeyer scored the Oles' other goal on a penalty kick with 20:16 left in regulation.
St. Olaf controlled the pace of play, holding a 16-10 edge in shots and a 7-1 advantage in shots on goal. Schoustra and
Abby Stets had three shots each to lead the Oles.
St. Olaf keeper Brynne Davis needed to make only one save to earn the shutout victory, her second of the year.
With the win, the Oles (7-5-0) moved to 5-1-0 in MIAC play.
