NORTHFIELD, Minn. - No. 4 St. Thomas defeated St. Olaf 97-0 in a MIAC football game on Saturday at Klein Field at Manitou.
Jacque Parra was 13-of-24 for 295 yards and three touchdowns, including two on fourth down, as the Tommies moved to 8-0 in MIAC play and 9-1 overall.
St. Olaf finished the season 4-6 overall and 3-5 in MIAC play, its best season since 2012.
Troy Peterson had a team-best five receptions for St. Olaf to complete his career with 205 catches, a school record. Luke Dahl had 11 solo and three assisted tackles to pace the Ole defense.
UST was 5-for-5 on fourth down, converted two-of-three two-point conversions and intercepted four passes, including one returned for a touchdown. Lineman Jaxson Lind rushed for the final score with seven seconds left in regulation on a second down carry.
Josh Parks rushed nine times for 115 yards and two touchdowns to lead the UST run game.
The win was the ninth in a row for St. Thomas over the Oles after St. Olaf won four straight from 2005-08.
