ST. CLOUD, Minn - The Ole men's hockey team scored twice but St. Olaf (4-4-0, 2-2-0 MIAC) lost a conference game to the Johnnies (6-2-0, 2-2-0 MIAC) on Saturday by a final score of 4-2.
The Johnnie struck first with a Matt Colford goal just over four minutes into the game. The Oles answered in the second frame when Tuukka Totro scored to even it up at 1-1. Mitch Fritz regained the lead for the Johnnies 18 seconds later with his first goal of the season.
The Johnnies would score twice more before Charlie Widmar scored for the Oles with less than three minutes remaining in regulation. The Oles would not score again and fell to .500 on the season, both overall and in conference play.
Next up for the Ole men is a conference game against Concordia on December 1st.
