ST. JOSEPH, Minn. - The St. Olaf women's basketball team (2-8, 0-3 MIAC) lost 52-34 to the College of Saint Benedict (8-1, 3-0 MIAC) in a conference game on Saturday.
Makenna Ash led the Oles with 15 points on 6-of-10 shooting. Ash also led St. Olaf with 11 rebounds for her third double-double of 2017-18.
The Blazers led 29-23 at halftime. In that first half, the Oles were 11-of-24 from the field (45.8 percent). St. Olaf was limited by the CSB defense to 11 points in the second half on 4-of-23 shooting (17.4 percent)
Megan Thomson shot 5-of-8 from the field and made all three of her three-point attempts as she led the Blazers with 18 points.
Next up for the Oles is a road game at Saint Mary's University on Tuesday.
