Ash's career night leads Oles past Carleton

NORTHFIELD, Minn. - Makenna Ash had a career-high 31 points, which matches the most in the last 17 seasons at St. Olaf, as the host Oles defeated Carleton 72-46 on Wednesday night at Skoglund Center.

Ash was 12-for-21 from the field, 7-of-9 from the free throw line and had 10 rebounds for her 12th double-double of the year. 

Ella Skrien added 17 points and Margaret Andersen 11 for the Oles, who outscored Carleton 21-9 in the second quarter and 26-13 in the third. 

Samantha Cooke had 16 points and Sarah Waldfogel 11 to lead Carleton (8-16, 6-11 MIAC).
