MENDOTA HEIGHTS, Minn. - St. Olaf first year
Tuukka Totro's goal with 3:17 left in regulation forced overtime, but St. Thomas' Johnny Panvica scored with two seconds left in overtime as the Tommies upended St. Olaf 4-3 on Friday night.
Steven Sherman and
Will Dittrich had the other St. Olaf goals in the back-and-forth game. Panvica had two goals for the first place Tommies, who kept pace with Augsburg for the regular season title.
Jude Hull took the tough-luck loss for the Oles, making 40 saves. UST held a 44-26 edge in shots.
The teams will meet tomorrow in the series finale in Northfield at 7:30 p.m.
