MINNEAPOLIS -
Jake Mathison struck out 10 in a one-hit complete game and
Sam Stuckmayer blasted a three-run homer to lead St. Olaf to a 6-1 game one victory on the way to a sweep of Crown College early Saturday morning at U.S. Bank Stadium.
Game One: St. Olaf 6, Crown 1
Mathison walked none and his only run allowed was unearned.
Luke Dahl was 1-for-2 with a walk at the plate to lead the Oles.
Game Two: St. Olaf 6, Crown 3
The Oles scored all six runs in the third inning in the game two win.
Jake Ossell delivered a pinch hit, go-ahead two-run single in the rally.
St. Olaf used three pitchers.
Jesse Retzlaff picked up the win, going three innings in relief of
Kade Cronin. Retzlaff struck out four and allowed two hits.
Will Gustafson threw the last two innings, retiring all six batters he faced to get the save.
St. Olaf walked no one in the 14 innings of work.
