St. Olaf sweeps Bethel in pair of one-run games

ARDEN HILLS, Minn. - St. Olaf swept an MIAC softball series with Bethel University on Thursday, 3-2 and 4-3.

Game One: St. Olaf 3, Bethel 2
Jessica Bentley went 2-for-4 with a double, run and RBI as the Oles scored twice in the fourth and once in the fifth for the 3-2 win.

Julie Graf worked all seven innings, striking out eight to get the win.

Mariah Uphof was 2-for-4 for Bethel.

Game Two: St. Olaf 4, Bethel 3
Bentley again was 2-for-4 while throwing four innings on the mound to pick up the win as the Oles (20-10, 9-5 MIAC) swept BU with a 4-3 win. Alison Curry added a 2-for-2 game at the plate and Graf tossed the final three innings for the save.

Uphof and Megan Bode were each 1-for-4 with a run and RBI for the Royals (9-17, 5-8 MIAC).
