NORTHFIELD, Minn. - The St. Olaf baseball team swept 25th-ranked Bethel University 6-2 and 10-7 on Saturday afternoon at Mark Almli Field.

The Oles scored six times with two outs in the fifth inning to rally for the game one win.
Jake Mathison threw his fourth complete game, allowing two earned on five hits and a walk while striking out eight.

Joe Keiski delivered two-run hits in the fifth.

Dylan Blake and
Jake Ossell each went 3-for-5 as the Oles pounded a season-high 18 hits in the 10-7 win. Mathison went 2-for-4 as he and Ossell homered.
The Oles (9-10, 2-2 MIAC) led 4-0 before erupting for four more runs in the bottom of the seventh. The runs came in handy as the Royals scored three times in the eighth and four times in the ninth inning off of reliever
Will Gustafson.
Gustafson worked out of a bases loaded jam in the sixth inning with two straight strikeouts to keep the game at 4-0.
Hanson Devine earned the win, working five and a third scoreless innings. He struck out five, walked three and allowed four hits to get his first victory.
Austin Leden went 3-for-4, Jake Schuber 3-for-5 and John Horner 1-for-2 with a homer and three RBI for the Royals (19-5, 4-2 MIAC).
