Game Recap: Women's Soccer |

Blugolds defeat Ole women 3-1

EAU CLAIRE, Wis. - UW-Eau Claire defeated St. Olaf 3-1 in a non-conference women's soccer game on Wednesday afternoon at Bollinger Fields. 

The Blugolds led 3-0 and had goals from Sami Matuszak, Emily Sullivan and McKenna Gieske.

Kaylyn Billmeyer scored the Oles' goal, on a penalty kick, at the 61:33 mark. 

St. Olaf had more scoring chances, holding a 12-11 edge on shots and a 9-6 advantage on shots on goal. 

The Oles (4-3-0, 2-0-0 MIAC) host MIAC foe Saint Benedict on Saturday at 3:30 p.m.
