SUPERIOR, Wis. - The St. Olaf women's hockey team (2-6-3) fell to the University of Wisconsin-Superior (10-4-0) by a final of 3-2 on Saturday night.

After the Oles got on the board with Johanna Glaaser's first period goal, the Yellowjackets scored thrice. Lexie Weiss tied it up in the first, then Kaleigh Martinson and Amber Heidenreich added a goal each in the second to hand the Oles a 3-1 deficit.

Jane Vezina scored late in the second to cut into the Yellowjacket lead, but a scoreless third frame resulted in the Oles' sixth loss of the season.

Next up for the Oles is a game at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire on Tuesday.
