ST. BONIFACIUS, Minn. – The St. Olaf College volleyball team never trailed on its way to a 25-10, 25-15, 25-8 victory over Crown College in a non-conference match on Monday evening at Wild Athletic Center.

Alison Curry each contributed eight. The Oles hit over .300 for the sixth time this season, posting a .315 attack percentage, compared to a -.084 clip for Crown (1-20).
With the win, St. Olaf improved to 12-0 all-time against Crown and has won all 35 sets in the all-time series between the two programs.
Marxer reached double figures in kills for the second-straight match, with the 10 kills matching the second-highest total of her young career. Meanwhile, Hensley's eight kills were five more than her previous career high and classmate
Emma Samson posted her first two kills of the season for the Oles.
Sophomore
Lexi Wall recorded her fourth double-double of the season, and second in a row, with 36 assists and 15 digs. Wall also had three of St. Olaf's eight aces, as the Oles tallied at least eight for the third-straight match. Junior
Haley Langeslag matched Crown's Madeline Svoboda for match-high honors with 12 digs and also posted five assists.
St. Olaf raced out to a 6-1 lead in the opening set and broke the set wide open with an 8-0 run that put the Oles on top, 16-4, and included four kills by Marxer. Crown mustered just one kill and seven errors in the opening set, while St. Olaf hit .323 and won seven-straight points towards the tail end of the set to take it 25-10.
Crown hung with St. Olaf early in the second, trailing just 7-5 before a run of six points in a row gave the Oles a 13-5 advantage. Junior
Lauren Rewers had a pair of aces during the 6-0 run, as St. Olaf led by at least five for the rest of the set.
The 25-8 set win in the third was St. Olaf's widest margin of victory in a set this season. The Oles broke a 1-1 tie by winning six consecutive points, with kills from Hensley accounting for three of the six points. Already ahead 14-5, St. Olaf again strung together six points in a row, including three-straight aces by Wall, to go ahead 20-5. Hensley had five of her eight kills in the third set, including one on match point for the Oles.
St. Olaf returns to Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC) play on Wednesday, Oct. 10 with a trip to St. Catherine University for a 7 p.m. match.
