Rose Peterson won 3-meter diving,
Marissa Wolff the 200 free and
Helen Jensen the 400 IM on Friday night as the St. Olaf women's swimming and diving team remained in third place through the second of three days at the MIAC Championships at the University of Minnesota's Jean Freeman Acquatic Center.Â
Peterson posted an NCAA B-cut score of 401.40 to get her diving victory.Â
Jensen finished the 400 IM in a B-cut time of 4:30.46. Teammate
Linnea Rizzo was third in the event in 4:32.60.Â
Wolff's victory in the 200 free came in a B-cut time of 1:52.47.Â
Sophia Nevin narrowly missed a victory with a runner up finish in the 100 breast in 1:05.66.
Kelly Punyko had the Oles' other top-five finish in the session, finishing fifth in the 100 back in 58.44.Â
St. Olaf closed the night with a second place swim in the 800 free relay. Rizzo, Jensen,
Caitlin Croasdell and Wolff combined for a 7:45.29.Â
Punyko, Nevin, Jensen and Wolff teamed to finish third in the 200 medley relay to open the session.
