MINNEAPOLIS - The St. Olaf women's swimming and diving team had two victories on Saturday on the way to a third place finish third at the MIAC Championships.
Rose Peterson completed a sweep of the diving events with her victory on the 1-meter board to open Saturday night. She finished the event with a score of 377.95. The Oles'
Lauren Kroschel also scored in the event, finishing fifth. Peterson was named Diver of the Meet and qualified for the NCAA Division III Diving Regional in the process.
Caitlin Croasdell won the 1,650 free in a 2017 NCAA standard and school record time of 17:12.65.
Linnea Rizzo was fifth in race, in 14:47.49, and first year
Anna Lance was eighth.
Other Saturday St. Olaf highlights
Helen Jensen had a second place finish in the 200 fly in 2:08.66.
Marissa Wolff was third in the 100 free (52.49).
Kelly Punyko was fourth in the 200 back in 2:09.54.
In the 200 breast,
Sophia Nevin was seventh in 2:25.01.
The Oles finished the championship with a third place finish in the 400 free relay. Rizzo, Punyko, Jensen and Wolff teamed for a 3:34.45.
