Box Score MINNEAPOLIS - The St. Olaf women's tennis team defeated Hamline University 8-1 in a MIAC matchup on Friday at the University of Minnesota.

The Oles swept the Pipers in the doubles matches, with Sabrina Barboza and Erin McDonald winning the No. 1 doubles match 9-7.

Hamline's lone victory was in the No. 1 singles match as Ali Kopiecki defeated Barboza. In the No. 2 match, McDonald defeated Natalie Pieterick 6-1, 6-1.

Next up for the Oles is a conference match at St. Catherine University next Saturday.
