AUBURNDALE, Fla. - The St. Olaf baseball team (4-4) fell 12-8 to Worcester State University (3-9) on Thursday afternoon.

Mike Ferrara drove in four runs for the Lancers, going 3-for-5 with a two-run homer in the sixth inning. Ferrara's homer was one of three for Worcester on the day. Kevin Larkin added another two-run shot in the sixth, and Ben Palatino put the Lancers on the board with a solo shot in the first.

Luke Dahl hit an RBI double in the sixth and led the Oles with two RBI, going 1-for-3 with a walk and a run scored. TJ Rogers, Matthew Muller, and Sam Pressman each had two hits for St. Olaf.

The Oles hit .261 (6-for-23) with runners on base and .250 (4-for-16) with runners in scoring position. The Lancers hit .471 (8-for-17) with men on and .500 (5-for-10) when they were in scoring position.

Next up for the Oles is a double-header against SUNY Cobleskill on Friday.
