CLERMONT, Fla. - The St. Olaf softball team dropped two one-run games to Iowa Intercollegiate Athletic Conference foes on Sunday, losing a 2-1 game to Loras before an 8-7, eight-inning game, to ninth-ranked Luther.

Julie Graf struck out 11, but Loras struck for two first inning runs in the 2-1 win. St. Olaf had four hits to Loras' three, led by
Abby Grismer's 2-for-3 effort.
Luther 8, St. Olaf 7 (8 inn.)
Luther's placed runner scored with two outs in the eighth inning as Luther came-from-behind to defeat an upset-minded St. Olaf.
The Oles (5-5) scored four times in the first inning, helped by doubles by Grismer,
Hannah Matthies and
Macy Vosbeek.
Luther chipped away with two in the third and another in the fourth before St. Olaf scored three times in the bottom of the fourth to lead 7-3.
The No. 9 Norse (10-1) then scored four in the fifth inning and Samantha Bratland held the Oles scoreless over the final four innings.
Grismer was 3-for-4 and Mathies 3-for-5.
Kate Arneson and
Alison Curry added two hits each for the Oles.
Addy Pender and Ashley Burrows were each 3-for-5 for Luther.
