ROCHESTER, Minn. - St. Olaf defeated Grinnell College 8-7 and Knox College 10-2 on Sunday afternoon to wrap up the Associated Colleges of the Midwest Dome Softball Series at the RCTC Dome. 

St. Olaf 8, Grinnell 7
The Oles raced to a 6-0 lead and held on for the one-run victory. Alison Curry was 3-for-3 with two doubles and Ally Bode 2-for-3 with a double, two runs and two RBIs to lead St. Olaf. 

Grinnell took advantage of an error in the seventh inning. The Pioneers strung together four hits in the inning and had the tying run on second base with two outs before Graf struck out the final hitter to secure the win. 

Rachel Niederkorn worked the first 3 1/3 innings for the Oles, allowing four hits and two runs. Julie Graff worked the final 3 2/3 innings, striking out eight and walking one while giving up one earned run.

Emily Carr was 3-for-4 with a double and three RBIs as the Oles (5-3) picked up the run-rule victory. 

Abby Grismer went all five innings, scattering three hits and four walks, allowing no earned runs in the win. 

Kate Arneson was 2-for-3 and Curry 2-for-3 with two runs and two RBIs to finish the day 5-for-6.

Curry was named to the All-Tournament Team.
