DUNDAS, Minn. -
Emily Carr was a combined 3-for-5 with three runs, a walk as St. Olaf swept Carleton 5-4 and 3-0 on Friday night and early Saturday morning for its fifth and sixth straight MIAC softball wins.
Game One: St. Olaf 5, Carleton 4
Macy Vosbeek's two-run double in the third inning proved to be the game-winning swing.
Abby Grismer and Carr were each 2-for-3 and
Julie Graf threw four and a third innings of near perfect relief. Graf did not allow a hit or run while she struck out six and walked two.
Carleton took a 4-2 lead in the third before the Oles rallied with three runs in the bottom of the inning.
Game Two: St. Olaf 3, Carleton 0
Graf and Grismer combined for a five-hit shutout, and
Alison Curry was 2-for-3 with a double, run and RBI in the game two victory.
Graf went the first three innings and Grismer the final four.
Kate Arneson added a 2-for-4 effort at the plate.
Katie Eppard was 2-for-3 for Carleton.
