NORTHFIELD, Minn. - Gustavus Adolphus College swept an MIAC baseball doubleheader against host St. Olaf on Tuesday, winning the opener 7-1 before a come-from-behind 6-5 win in game two.
Game One: Gustavus 7, St. Olaf 1
The Gusties scored five times in the third inning on the way to the game one victory.
Dylan Blake and
Luke Dahl were each 2-for-3 for St. Olaf in the loss.
Nolan Lepel was 3-for-4 with a three-run homer for the Gusties.
Game Two: Gustavus 6, St. Olaf 5
TJ Rogers was 3-for-4 and
Sam Stuckmayer homered off the bench, but the Gusties used a four-run sixth inning to defeat the Oles.
Jake Mathison was 1-for-3 with three RBIs for the Oles.
Lepel homered twice and Matt Berkner went 2-for-4 with two doubles for Gustavus.
