NORTHFIELD, Minn. - Due to unseasonably cold temperatures in the forecast, the St. Olaf College men's and women's basketball games scheduled for Wednesday evening have been postponed until Thursday evening.

The men's basketball team will host Saint Mary's (Minn.) on Thursday, Jan. 31, at 7 p.m., while the women's basketball team travels to Winona, Minn. for their contest against the Cardinals beginning at 7 p.m.

The Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC) Athletics Directors' Council agreed to postpone all basketball games scheduled for Wednesday night to Thursday night due to the predicted extreme cold temperatures and dangerous wind chills on Tuesday morning.
