Wall gathers MIAC Setter/Libero of the Week honor

BLOOMINGTON, Minn. – Junior setter Lexi Wall of the St. Olaf College volleyball team received her second Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC) Setter/Libero of the Week honor of the season on Monday afternoon, as announced by the conference office.

Wall averaged 12.00 assists per set while handing out 84 assists over two Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC) road victories for St. Olaf last week. The junior recorded 47 assists and nine digs in a four-set win at Macalester on Saturday after posting 37 assists and seven digs the night before as the Oles swept Bethel in Arden Hills.

The honor was the third weekly award of the season for Wall, who was previously named the Sports Imports/AVCA NCAA Division III National Player of the Week on Oct. 15 and the MIAC Setter/Libero of the Week on Sept. 16. Wall's recognition marked the sixth MIAC volleyball weekly award for an Ole this season.

Wall currently leads all of NCAA Division III in assists per set (11.45) this season, while ranking second in total assists (1,179).

St. Olaf closes out the regular season with a pair of matches this week. The Oles travel to Hamline on Wednesday, Oct. 30 for a 7 p.m. match before hosting Carleton on Senior Day on Friday at 7 p.m.
