ST. PAUL, Minn. – The No. 12-ranked University of St. Thomas scored three teams in each half to defeat the St. Olaf College women's soccer team, 6-0, on Saturday afternoon at South Field.
S. Thomas (4-2-0, 2-1-0 MIAC) used goals from six different players to hand St. Olaf (5-3-1, 2-1-0 MIAC) its first conference loss of the season. The Oles were looking to knock off the nationally-ranked Tommies for the second-straight season after posting a 1-0 win over the then No. 13-ranked St. Thomas at Rolf Mellby Field on Oct. 20, 2018.
The Tommies jumped ahead in the sixth minute on a goal by Tessa Trettel and built a 3-0 lead at the half after goals from Lexi Serreyn in the 29th minute and Kaley Roberts in the 40th minute.
St. Thomas scored its three second-half goals in the span of 12 minutes, getting goals from Elizabeth Luotto, Kristen Epperly and Katie Heimer. Heimer finished the afternoon with a goal and two assists to lead the way for the Tommies.

Mackenzie Schoustra had four of St. Olaf's five shots on goal in the game, but Sarah Pasternak saved all five shots she faced to record the shutout for St. Thomas. Junior
Brynne Davis finished the game with six saves for the Oles.
St. Olaf looks to bounce back on Wednesday, Oct. 2 when Saint Mary's comes to Rolf Mellby Field for a 4 p.m. kickoff.
