NORTHFIELD, Minn. – Seventh-ranked Gustavus Adolphus College got two goals from Molly McHugh en route to a 5-0 victory over the St. Olaf College women's hockey team in the second of two meetings between the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC) foes on Sunday evening at St. Olaf Ice Arena.
McHugh scored once in each of the first two periods, as Gustavus (11-2-1, 7-0-1 MIAC) built a 4-0 lead after two to defeat St. Olaf (0-13-2, 0-8-0 MIAC) and remain unbeaten in conference play this season. Emily Olson, Kristina Press and Hailey Holland also logged goals for the Gusties.

Kaitlyn Pellicci and sophomore
Ivy Shonka combined to make 58 saves for St. Olaf. Boswell-Healey made 16 saves and did not yield a goal in 19:43 in net, while Pellicci had 19 saves and Shonka tallied a team-high 23.
Francesca Gerardi stopped all seven shots she faced for the Gusties, who entered the game with the fourth-stingiest defense in NCAA Division III, allowing an average of one goal per game.
McHugh opened the scoring with an unassisted goal at 6:15 of the first period before Olson doubled the visitors' lead on the power play at 14:54. Goals from McHugh and Press in the first eight minutes of the second period stretched the Gustavus lead to 4-0 after two.
Holland netted the Gusties' second power-play goal of the game at 14:02 for the lone goal of the third period.
St. Olaf continues MIAC play next weekend with a series against St. Catherine University. The Oles visit Drake Arena in St. Paul for a 7 p.m. puck drop on Friday, Jan. 24 in the series opener.
