BLOOMINGTON, Minn. – Four St. Olaf College student-athletes were selected as one of the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC) Athletes of the Week in their respective sports on Tuesday afternoon.

Seniors Charlotte Thomson and Izzy Treanor swept the MIAC Women's Swimmer and Diver of the Week accolades, senior Oscar Hanifl was named the MIAC Men's Diver of the Week, and senior Will Kelly collected MIAC Men's Indoor Track Athlete of the Week honors.

Thomson earned the first MIAC Athlete of the Week accolade of her career after being part of four top-two swims for St. Olaf in Saturday's dual against Carleton College. The senior won the 1,000-yard freestyle (11:04.16) and the 500-yard freestyle (5:28.92), was second in the 100-yard freestyle (56.93), and swam on St. Olaf's first-place 400-yard freestyle relay (3:49.28) to score 33 points in the dual.

Treanor claimed the 10th MIAC Athlete of the Week honor of her career and her fourth this season. The senior posted the top combined score (448.90) over the two sessions of one-meter diving on Saturday, winning the first session with 193.00 points and finishing half a point out of first with 255.90 points in the second session.

Hanifl picked up his second MIAC Men's Diver of the Week award of the season after winning both sessions of the one-meter diving on Saturday, qualifying for regionals in the process. The senior posted scores of 191.15 and 288.05 in the two sessions.

Kelly collected his seventh MIAC Athlete of the Week accolade after a record-setting performance at the St. Olaf Invitational and Multi on Friday night.
