CLEVELAND, Ohio – St. Olaf College finished 68th out of 429 NCAA Division III institutions in the Learfield Directors' Cup for the 2025-26 academic year, as announced by the National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics (NACDA).
St. Olaf recorded its fourth top-75 finish in the last five years and moved up 37 spots from last year's standing after compiling 293.5 points over the course of 2025-26. Men's track and field added 52.5 points to St. Olaf's total by tying for 21st place at the NCAA Division III Outdoor Track & Field Championships this spring.
The Learfield Directors' Cup is a program that honors institutions maintaining a broad-based athletics program, awarding points based on each institution's national finishes in the NCAA Championships. St. Olaf earned 241.0 points in the fall thanks to its results in men's soccer, men's cross country, volleyball, and women's cross country.
St. Olaf's 293.5 points were its second-highest total since 2016-17, four points shy of the 297.5 earned in 2023-24.
